Opened in the fall of 2014, the Isabel Bader Centre for the Performing Arts is a new home for the creative arts at Queen’s and a new hub of vibrant artistic study, creation and exhibition in our community. The learning experiences shaped by the Isabel will enhance our students’ skills and abilities for their work in the arts and beyond.

Situated on the shores of Lake Ontario, the Isabel brings together exceptional spaces and programs with a captivating sense of place to create a dynamic venue for our students and community to learn, discover, think, do, and experience, together.

The School of Drama and Music, the Department of Film and Media, and the Bachelor of Fine Art program share state-of-the-art teaching, performance and exhibition spaces within the Isabel. More than 200 film, music, and drama students take classes at the facility each day.
